As a Project Manager my job is is to ensure defined projects are completed on time and on budget. Examples include new outdoor swimming baths at Putaruru,Office, upgrade at Tokoroa Office, upgrade at Putaruru’s Plaza Theatre, and new reservoir and pumping system at the township of Arapuni.
What are the skills needed to do my job?
There are various skills needed to effectively manage and complete the budget on time and on budget. Skills needed include design capability, knowledge of contract processes and critical path analysis, together with good financial control and contractor relationships.
What I like most with my job?
The ability to see progress in real world being made, and watching the enjoyment of users of the facilities when work is complete.
