VUW Policy Student Receives Academic Prize

Jehan Casinader, currently studying public policy and law, received the SOLGM/Local Government Careers Academic Prize in Public Policy. Jehan received the Academic Prize as recognition for obtaining the highest grade in PUBL 201 (Introduction to Public Policy). Jehan is currently studying at Victoria University Wellington.

Ross McLeod, SOLGM Vice President, handed the certificate and prize money to Jehan during the Government Anniversary function last 14 October which was attended by the Deputy Prime Ministry, the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, alumni and staff.

“Thank you once again for the SOLGM prize. I look forward to continuing my studies of public policy,” said Jehan.

This is the first Local Government Careers Academic Prize given at Victoria University and another prize will be scheduled next year.
